Looking for a NEW and challenging triathlon? You love the road, but want to test out that mountain bike that’s been sitting in your garage? The XTERRA Marquette triathlon features a swim in the newly filled Tourist Park Basin, then it’s on to a challenging, yet beautiful, mountain bike ride over rolling terrain. Then you’ll get to finish things off with a run through the woods surrounding Tourist park on to the North Country Trail! This is the perfect off-road tri for beginners to experts. The course is designed so that anyone can have fun and everyone will be challenged!
You can choose from two distances, EPIC or SPORT.

Each participant will pick-up a timing chip on race morning as you walk into the transition area. The chip is attached to a soft comfortable neoprene and Velcro strap. Please wear the strap on your left ankle with the Velcro securely fastened. We recommend that you wear it under your wetsuit to avoid the possibility that it gets pulled off during the swim, or when you remove your wetsuit. Your timing chip must be worn during the entire race to receive split times and a finish time. After you cross the finish line well have volunteers there to remove your timing chip. These chips must be returned at the finish line following the race. If you decide to withdraw from the race, please stop by the finish area and return your chip.
